That was the one and only time Game Freak didn’t fuck us, they saw Joe HGSS was hated for not fixing Johto’s over dependence on KANTOOOOOOOOOOOO, so actually listened to fans and made sure to avoid HGSS’s glaring flaws when making BW. But Kanturds threw a tantrum because no CHARIZARD, so Game Frewk said fuck it and stopped trying

BW meanwhile was so bad it nearly killed the franchise and affected the sales of XY.
