First of all, love Drifblim and Eevee as well. Touching on what you were saying, it's an inherently flawed system of representing your favorites. When you organize them by favorite of each type, you're automatically excluding any options within that type, which you may enjoy more, for no good reason. The main reasons it's likely this will happen, are both because the types are not evenly distributed, (sorry Mono-Water-Types,) and your favorites within that distribution are also not likely to be even.

Furthermore, Dual-Types are somehow controversial. Most in this thread have chosen to have each slot occupied be a novel species, which is fine, of course you do you, but almost certainly does not represent a true cross-section of your favorites. Parasect, Steelix, Medicham, Pidgey, these species to me are the pinnacle of both of their types, to the exclusion of others which are closer to the top of my list than Pokémon that did make the cut. More to come in next post.

As you can see, in this ordered list, the problem is obvious. Glameow, Alakazam, Seaking, Exploud, Lapras, Finneon, Sneasel, Skiploom, Beautifly, Mothim, Lickilicky, Trash Cloak Wormadam, Swinub, and Budew are all excluded from the list, despite likling them roughly equal to, or greater than other species which did make the cut. This is simply not a good representation of my favorites, then. As a neat thought experiment, sure. But as a list of my favorites it is woefully subpar.

You listed mine as missing Gen 2 but I'm also lacking a Gen 8 mon. Personally think Gen 2 and 8 are the most lacking in exceptional Pokemon designs. Gen 8 is just very average imo and Gen 2 suffers from the baby Pokemon + a lot of the dex needing cross-gen evos to this day even. I will say Gen 4 benefits heavily from being the Gen with all the cross-gen evos so it's essentially leeching a lot of its quality from Gens 1-3. However for me I have 5 Gen 4 Pokemon of which 2 are cross-gen from Gen 3 and Gen 2.

No meming, what do people see in Archaludon? Most objectmons don't bother me, but when I look at Archaludon, I just see a literal fucking bridge. I can't take it or its pre-evo seriously, but most people (outside of here at least) seem to love it. Other than that, based list.
