The starters are Snivy, Torchic and Totodile, three starters that were not available as an option on the Nintendo Switch. Many have the wrong assumption that Piplup is the Water starter of games. The starters will have regional forms and mega evolution, Serperior Grass/Dragon (Royal), Blaziken Fire/Fairy (Fairytale) and Feraligatr Water/Steel (Knight monster).
