Small indie company only puts in effort when their precious Kanto is involved. All the other generations can go fuck themselves apparently.
See: LGPE compared to SWSH and SV, having actually decent visuals, an actual following mechanic that wasn't slapped on shit, and being able to ride pretty much any Pokemon that is large enough for the player.
