Lifesaver when it comes to characters that have little fandom content/have dead fandoms but I can still nurture some of my brainworms and soothe the autistic need to RP. It's not perfect but it's enough for me.
>using public botsI could never, I'm too controlling and need to write a character in my own way and establish the proper lore I want. I also have a degree quality control when I make my own bots, they meet my own standards at the very least.

C.AI has the "Persona" feature for maximum autism that 13-year-old me would have abused to hell and back in the 2000s. Talking to chatbots and having pretty decent RPs with them is like finally meeting the needs I had as a young weeb. Inner child nurturing and all that.
