But Wonder Guard itself is near useless. Hacks that have Wonder Guard mons with no weaknesses make you realize the giant number of things Wonder Guard doesn't block in Gen 3. It's a really long list, not just status stuff, Future Sight goes straight through it too. Any typeless damage. Very poorly designed ability until some of the typeless damage sources were removed.
