No Galar starter was popular, except Leon's Rillaboom.
Repeat the same shitty scheme... For what? If it's going to be the end, at least they do something different for the first time in 25 years.
Gengar and Lucario were always pokemon he had to have.
Dragonite is very popular but felt redundant.
Sirfetchd was a good choice.
Dracovish is without a doubt the worst choice in history. He is extremely horrible and his screams are the most disgusting thing I have ever heard.

Only because Leon has one. Had Galar’s dex has any Pokémon worthy of being a Champion’s ace, Ash absolutely would have had CHARIZARD and it would be the one to deliver the finishing blow.

Galar as a region got completely fucked over with JN doing its own thing instead of the standard Pokemon formula. Anyway I don't see why Ash NEEDS [regional bird, starter, shitmon] and how. His JN team is fucking boring and reeks of corporate "these are the Pokemon we want to sell" meddling, but that's really no better or worse than him running around with a Cinderace, who already has his shill character.
