Why is it using the shitty rematch team? Shouldn't it be a story gym leader? Or are those even more embarrassing? I know the champion literally has an ability that does nothing on their ace Pokemon, and the rematch team is even worse.

Every gym leader past Korrina gets a mega. Same with the elite four. Also give the elite four 5 pokemon. It’s not BW where a 150 ish pokemon dex is limiting teams. No excuse for not to use 5 mons.
Might not fix kalos being extremely generous with exp, but it’d be cooler.
