I've been handholding my friend through every major Pokémon game the past few weeks and his incomprehensible retardation exceeded all expectations. I now entirely understand why nu-Pokémon games are the way they are, even if it is still a disgrace and this audience shouldn't be accommodated for at all, I at least now see that it exists.
