Event Background;
Next Pokémon Presents will be on Thursday, August 15th, at 9 AM in Japan, 8 PM in New York, premiered at the Pokémon World Championships show floor in Hono'lulu, Hawai'i.

It is not replacing the Opening Ceremony being held the next day before play officially begins. There will also be small announcements made during both of the ceremonies.

- Announcing more involvement in the balance of all of their competitive games for a fairer, more streamlined experience.
