It's not coming out for another year+. If you wanna play it right now go for it. If you care about speedup then you won't wanna bother with the new version anyway (at least not till someone patched out the anti speedup)

If it's messing with the RTC it's not likely it'll work. But I'm not familiar enough with this new anti speedup hack to know for sure.
