>>56230349I was actually planning a fangame (which I'll probably never make because ADHD is a hell of a drug) set in PokePhilippines. The main plot/conflict revolves around a big investment company using the region as the world's dumping ground by sending all the trash on the planet to a hilariously underequipped "recycling plant" where the underpaid and poorly treated workers usually end up having to dump the stuff into the sea, poisoning the local environment, whilst the region is saddled with crushing amounts of debt in exchange for infrastructure deals that never get completed. A bit like real life!
Also had an idea for a branching evo for the main regional bug- a gun beetle that when given one of three stones will evolve into one of three forms, themed around a gatling gun, a missile launcher and a railgun respectively.
