Probably has the strongest opening of any Pokemon game. Starting in an actual City, the Floccessy Ranch, and Virbank City are all kino areas that aren't just the typical retread of "Pallet Town ripoff, Route 1 ripoff and Viridian City ripoff"

But then PokeStar studios happens and the middle of the game is basically BW all over again, until the Plasma Frigate event which is also kino.

I loved the PWT. It was a really fun alternative to the traditional Battle Tower equivalent for getting BP.

The post-game was surprisingly substantial with the exploration, battles, and legendaries. Also, PWT was an excellent implementation of rematches with characters across the DS games.

Some of them were fun like the mono-type E4 medals. But a bunch were impossible to get without being surrounded by others who were also playing B2/W2 and interested in medals. Especially the higher level funfest medals

this is a big problem with BW2 in general, it had a lot of online content, some of it almost quasi-mmo-like, which was cool if you were able to take advantage of it. but now all that content is dead. the worst offender is the entire bottom screen UI being functionally useless without online. what a waste

well, the regional dex is really good, great for teambuilding.
pretty decent postgame.
I generally liked the areas they added to Unova and felt it made the region better.
