Self reflection. He wouldn't have expected humans to do that, so he'd wonder if his understanding of humans is flawed. What happens from there, that depends on the conclusion he reaches.

Of course, in the 4kids version he'd just be angry and try to destroy the world with his storm anyway, because that's all Mewtwo was allowed to be in the original English dub.

The 4Kids dub was an atrocity. They took a complex character like Mewtwo and turned him into a generic one-dimensional cartoon villain.

Everyone here knows that anon, but what you fail to understand is that it had to be done. The US was in a massive moral panic at the time, from the direct attacks Pokemon was getting evangelical scam artist, to conservative politicians seething at the fact that the president got his dick sucked in the Oval Office, not everyone had the luxury of having liberal parents like I did
