The true way to fix bug-types

No.56239736 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Changing the type chart not only is unrealistic, it won't help bug types that much unless it's retarded drastic change that will literally never happen.

Here's things that would actually make bug good:
>A terrain or weather with setter on switch in.
>More good moves, like a bug-type version for Eruption, Overheat and Flare Blitz.
>Let good bug moves be on bug pokemon. Remove U-turn from almost everyone, give it to bug-type pokemon instead. Spread First Impression, Quiver Dance and Tail Glow around bug-types.
>Give bug-types better coverage options. Most bug-types have incredibly shallow movepools in terms of coverage
>BST buffs across the board
>An inherent immunity. Grass are immune to powder, Electric can't be paralyzed, etc. What exactly? Idk, I've seen people suggest flinch immunity, sound immunity, confusion immunity, intimidate immunity, redirection immunity... I think any of these would be good.
>a 600 BST pseudo dragon/bug.

If you really wanted to change the type chart, it doesn't make sense for GF to backpedal on their decision on bug interaction with fairies or ghosts, no matter how popular those changes are, because it would be admitting they were retarded. Instead, a more realistic change is Bug being SE against Ground, as it already resists it.
