Bug: This one is kinda hard since there is no one overall bug shape. Snap being a mix between an arachnid and insect is a good compromise. The bad one is just a spider and looks kinda fat.
Dark: I'm not actually a fan of the evil eye imagery or the moon (which has shared association with other types) so the rumble spiky thing which seems to embrace hostility kinda works. The Z-crystals aren't meant to be representative of the type and this one is just a little too detailed.
Dragon: I do already like tcg, go, and swsh designs, but masters adding the wings is the best iteration. For the life of me I couldn't tell you what that z-crystal symbolizes.
Electric: This is the most obvious symbol for the type but it works well and the tcg seems the cleanest. Rumble deviated from the norm and it doesn't work.
Fairy: None of these look great. Butterflies, hearts, and stars aren't that iconic for fairy, but the face on the z-crystal is both a little cute and eerie, exactly what the fairy type represents to me. Masters is straight up Navi from Zelda.
Fighting: Fists make sense... until you realize that most pokemon don't all have the 5 fingers as shown. Masters' boxing glove gets rid of that problem. I don't know what rumble was thinking with this one. A general rule for this is; if you took away the colors, how well could you tell the type?
Fire: Most of these are pretty good, but TCG barely wins. Took me a while to maybe see Rumble as being a campfire.
Flying: Mostly kinda the same, but I think it's cool how BdSp looks like the letter "F". Much more flying types have wings than actual feathers so snap works the least well, still not bad though.
Ghost: I personally don't like the eyes for whatever reason, even though I liked it for dragon, so z-crystal is fine for me and hate the one with the pupils.
