People always say shit like this but it's pretty hard to believe anything like that is ever gonna happen.
We record and store information at a way faster and more frequent pace than in any other time in history.
We are currently living in the easiest historic period to study in the future, if anything's gonna make it hard it's having to sort through all the worthless bullshit written by pre-teens on social media to get to stuff of actual historical importance.

A lot of our data will be lost. Records will deteriorate.

Unless we are carving our adventures in stone or making tremendous lasting monuments to them. These too will be lost info/technology in time. No one will ever know it ever existed because it’s all digital and what is physical will either erode to the environment or be lost to the seas over the ages. This world is very good at keeping things impermanent.
