Haley cheerily opened the door to her shared living space, and a certain green-haired Ace Trainer looked over from her computer.
“I got your text! I’m super curious about how you…uh, wow.” Mary’s eyes widened as she stood up, blinking a few times in succession. “Yeah, that’s a big change to your body, alright. But we’ll talk about that later! You have to tell me everything. And I mean everything.”
“Of course I will! Just give me a second, will you? My skirt is covering, like, nothing. And I still need to unload my bag and stuff…”

Haley’s belly had shrunk even more after taking a load off and telling Mary her story, only a potbelly remaining on her plump frame as she sat on her bed with a smile she just couldn’t seem to get rid of. Her Lotad was already finding some fun in playing with one of Cynthia’s hair ties, while Mary’s Skitty seemed to find it endlessly amusing to play catch with the other one while on her back. Mary had taken the liberty of turning on the news, searching for a channel that might be reporting on this…interesting encounter her friend had survived
“I still can’t believe you managed to eat an actual Champion, let alone two of the most powerful women in the world! Do you think we should tell somebody? Their disappearance is already on the news—you could be famous!”
Haley’s hands simply caressed the sagging orb that was her belly, enjoying the smooth softness with her shirt firmly out of the way, allowing for her belly to continue getting fresh air. She also couldn’t deny the happiness she got out of just how impressed her older roommate was. She usually didn’t feel like soaking up attention like this, nor take such pride in her body, but today made it hard not to appreciate just how far she’d come.
