currently trapped in a fight with raikou because it keeps running away
if it runs away, can i still catch it on another time. i don't have any pokemon that can trap it on me right now

i mean it because i'm playing on an emulator and saved it once i encountered him in battle. no matter how many times i reload or what i do he runs away

im not sure, i dont have any quickballs right now so can't use those but i used 10 ultrabulls and none of them worked, but he got out of them at different times so i dont think the rng is doomed
still don't feel like doing this right now, just want to quit this battle

No, it is not gone forever if it runs.
Just check your pokedex or your Map on the Pokegear and it'll show you their location.
