one of the ideas i had was her 'bad dreams' being social situations she doesn't know how to handle or is afraid of
people trying to date her just for her parents' money
her getting seriously injured during pokemon training and people just seeing helping her as a paycheck
i don't think she's even told her parents about her fucked up wrist
i think she's afraid of being objectified

still really intense in her passion but less likely to beat the shit out of people for trying to battle reader
reader happy to indulge her by mostly just battling her
think of it like a post game 'where are they now' sort of thing
that and trying to flesh her out a little more
played games with her dad before she got obsessed with battling, her wrist injury, trying to pay reader and reader's mom for letting her stay
