work as an in-house audio engineer at a mocap studio. we’ve been in talks with “a big name” for a while ab using our space (my higher ups had more specific details than me—under nda) and they just recently moved in for about three weeks of shooting. they’re using their own engineers in the for the shoot, but i was helping out during setup and without pressing for too many details i was able to glean they were indeed with gamefreak. they got set up with facial, full performance, and high-mobility capture systems (large spaces—this either means lots of people or lots of action)

will update as weeks go by—wont have much studio access in the meantime so i guess we either hope i hear something or hope they need to call for maintenance lol
