The bigger issues are more game design, like pointlessly getting stuck in the mud, the retarded friend code system with no random match-ups, the entire gts system, adding fog of all things as a road block requiring an hm to clear (yes I know you can brute force it the same way you could a dark cave without flash, still bad design) and the abysmal wild pokemon variety. Now we have bad games AND they run like shit.
