SS is about as kusoge as Pokemon gets. DP is pretty close, both have severe performance and game design issues. DP does have better trainers teams on average, but the AI is literally broken, and I'd argue that despite having a campaign with more design than SS the actual design choices are worse. I guess it depends on which you find worse, a game with one stand-out part but severe issues or a game that does nothing and somehow does all of it poorly. It doesn't help that Platinum and even arguably BDSP exist as hypothetical better versions of DP, while SS feels like a cancer on the side of it's own DLC, and the DLC isn't even that good.
