Kalos is a good one, the regional is more about fashion and leisure than battling compared to most others, though it's probably very expensive to live in.
I'd give it up to Johto after that since it feels the most rural of all the regions, so if you want some comfy farm life that would probably be it. Alola for the same reasons as Johto except it's island life instead of Japan's countryside.
Unova has a good middle ground between the two, with entire areas that have nothing to do with Pokemon if you're not dead set on being a trainer, and mind you, very few people in Pokemon are NOTHING except a Pokemon trainer, and have professions outside of that.

Kanto doesn't seem great, but it's also the region that has been developed the least, ironically, so it's hard to say what normal life is like there when there aren't Rockets running around all the time.
Orre is easily the worst, it's a badlands hellhole where you can get robbed 6 different ways, but it's a spinoff so eh.
I'd rate Galar as pretty bad if you're just a normal guy who doesn't care about Pokemon battling as a sport.
