I think of her randomly finding and using a Rhyhorn in the Diancie movie or, of course, her being able to draw all the Rhyhorn towards her during that one showcase performance. Her actually bringing the jumpsuit on her journey makes sense, because Grace would've found it left at the house and known Serena wasn't actually still practicing while on her journey like she told her to; so the notable thing isn't actually that she took the jumpsuit with her, but rather that she was using it.
