in the games, yes,
in the anime, shes no terrible but she was so obsessed with her work she didn't realize why Lillie was afraid of Pokemon in the first place. Hence why Lillie's so standoffish whenever Lusamine actually tries to get close to her.

Theres really not a lot of media where a character is so different across 3 productions released so closely together only thing I can think of is SEL

Yes and no in the games he world was basically crumbling around her and she goes insane. If Mohn never disappeared she would have been the mother she is in the anime.

It's also worth noting that the Adventures manga also keeps the original Sun and Moon personality, with an added bonus of us showing a flashback of her forcibly dressing Lillie up in her Nihilego-esque getup.

The reason I compare it is because they were released simultaneously, have the same set up but different reveals, conclusions and back story.

Yes, lain kills her therapist(who is her sister in the anime) then kills her self to live in the wired(like the glasses girl from the beginning of the anime)

If you watched the anime you know the complete opposite happens.

She's one of the few decently written antagonists in the series (in the games). Her fusing with Nihilego was pretty fuckin jarring when you're not expecting full on body horror in your pokemon game. Don't remember if it happened in USUM too though.
