You’re right about the other three but once again Gen1 and 3 got just as many if not even more cross gen evos, and all of those were completely worthless shitmons before hand.

And in PvP (both fanfic and the official Nintendo Cup). Gen2 Pokemon are just as common proportionally as Gen 1 mons. Genwun just seems stronger because it gets propped up by Snorlax’s fat unkillable ass.
