>>56300933>>56300962Thanks, anon. Much as people are burned out on robot/cyborg Pokemon after SV, I think so too. Vees in armour is too controversial and a more industrially look isn't cuddly enough. But those RC robot dogs are friend-shaped to begin with, and thus a perfect thing to model the steel Vee after. Smooth metal makes it sufficiently huggable, and the eyes, ears, and tail are very unique. The excessively exuberant expression is very fitting - almost as if it's programmed to love you (although my headcanon the Vee would still be flesh and blood under the metal exterior).
Sadly I did have to give up my preferred ground type design when I realised how important it is for a Vee's hips to be one solid colour, and I still feel a bit adrift without it.
