I'm currently playing FireRed and I have reached the conclusion that FRLG is the BEST Pokemon game of all time. It has everything that a Pokemon game should have, and none of the stuff that a Pokemon game doesn't need. So what makes FRLG so good?
>Updated Kanto in the best possible way with nice graphics, colors, Abilities, held items, etc
>Added the best postgame quest in the series: the Sevii Islands
>Added the VS Seeker, so that you can battle almost any trainer you want, as many times as you want
>Kept intact things from the originals like the Safari Zone and the Game Corner slot machines
>Added a unique Battle Facility that no other game has: the Trainer Tower
>First game to introduce improved Pokemon League rematches
>Added small touches like the way you can customize your Trainer Card with the Printer in the Game Corner
>And many other small improvements
