Why is almost no one wanting to join my team? I can't imagine how horrible the RNG is when I want to recruit powerful mons.

Otherwise I'm surprisingly having fun just mindlessly going into dungeons.

your level is too low + some mons are only recruitable after you beat the game + you don't use a friend bow.

I would’ve preferred them scrapping it entirely to what we got. The sprites overlaying the fucking static drawings is practically a middle finger, constantly reminding me of what the game could have been if they’d given a shit

There are a large number of recruitment modifiers. It's based on your level, I think also the level of your team, there's also an IQ skill, and an item you can equip. Almost every pokemon can have their recruitment rates increased to something reasonable, if they're recruitable at all.

If you're going for 100% honestly at a certain point leveling up and getting EXP is a bigger time waster than actually recruiting. The easiest way to get every pokemon eventually becomes speedrunning wish cave.
