>>56304900>Realistically, they probably can't go much further than eternamax eternatus for an ingame full arceus. Honestly, I prefer to think that Arceus, the creator, isn't a pokemon itself, or isn't even called Arceus. Maybe the nebula thing from the beta.Yeah I agree with all of that, anything more than Eternamax Eternatus and you might as well just make it one of those scripted unwinnable RPG boss fights. And yeah, Arceus got memed on too long for being a god that gets caught by a 10 year old, and getting stat mogged by Primals and Megaquaza. Legends finally gave it that full mystique and presence back, and it should stay that way. The beta Arceus is pretty funny so that's my new headcanon, we can't even begin to grasp its true form.
>If I had a headcannon for it, I think a switch-in ability that replaces the type of all pokemon on the field to be pure dragon would be pretty nice. The OG dragon would be pretty good defensively as most moves would lose their stab and good offensively since it would threaten all pokemon supereffectively and force switches. That way you can make it good without giving it 180 attack or 135 speed.I really like that idea anon! Powerful but novel for an ability, and nothing too out there either since moves like Soak and Trick-or-Treat exist already. If I had to throw in my 2 cents, maybe a variant of Steelworker on crack that gives it STAB on Fire/Electric/Ice while staying pure Dragon itself.
Maybe a bit much idk, but at least it's not Pressure or something lol.
