>>56304484 >>56305081 My tinfoil hat theory is that originally she would have used ttar as her ace but once Umbreon was retyped from poison to dark they decided to nerf her team and throw on Vileplume as filler. While even more speculative I wonder if she was intended to use the dark type cat that was cut and they just went "fuck it" and had Gengar fill the slot.
Also why did they redesign her so heavily in HGSS? I like both looks actually but the original definitely feels more appropiate for the type, the new design doesn't really do much to convey what type she uses.
