>>56307997When you deposit something into Home now it generates a tracker ID which keeps track of the basic stuff like species, nature, IVs, etc., so anything coming from Bank now gets that tracker added to it. This basically makes it impossible to move things from pre-Switch to a Switch game now because the ID is generated server-side on Home.
It also serves as an additional hack-check for some Pokemon. Remember when people were crying about getting DQ'd from Worlds last year? It was because they were using mons originally from SwSh and PLA that were injected directly into SV and thus didn't get the tracker they should have had from passing through Home.
