For example, conkeldur is machamp, Woobat is zubat, sawk and throh are Hitmonlee/chan, Pidove is pidgey, and it goes on and on. They claimed to be splitting off from the old games but the devs couldn't come up with new pokemon without ripping off old ones.

>No berries to raise without Dream World (now dead), BW2 fixed that too with Join Avenue.I will admit I have never engaged with Join Avenue, it was just another thing I mashed A through and never revisited, but yes berries don't exist anymore in Gen 5 in the overworld, though that's been an issue since gen 4.
