Setting: in the Past
Starters: Snivy, Piplup, Scorbunny with the original Kalos trio being given to you taking the place of the Kanto trio.

Three possibilities here:
- Chespin/Fennekin/Froakie as the starters again and they all get new Mega Evolutions
- Snivy/Scorbunny/Piplup with regional forms (No Megas) since they're all based on France
- Snivy/Litten/Ferligatr with regional forms (No Megas) going by the remaining Tera Raids

Personally I'm thinking closer to present day, but I think we'll be doing some degree of time traveling.
So primarily in the present, with plenty of gameplay set in the past.

these are retarded. Snivy is Game Freak's favorite Unovamon, Scorbunny is the biggest shillmon in Galar, Piplup is beloved by Japan, BaraTigerofHealthyMeta is Game FReak's favorite Pokemon after CHARIZARD, and Feraligatr is the only Johto starter Game Freak didnt intentionally gimp. None of those are ever getting replaced with regionals

I don't think that you understand what a blueprint would imply. It is a vision for what the final product should be once the reconstruction project is complete. And if that vision shown is in line with the modern day, when do you think that means the game takes place?

Paris was a shithole before the Haussmann's Renovation which was to clean the streets, make the neighborhoods more modern and give Paris a proper sewage system.

Did yoiu also see the part where the blues dropped back into planning drawings on the page then? Implying the buildings (and by extension tghe people in the modern city) don't yet exist and will be built to be inhabited in the future from its completion by the types of people wearing those types of clothes.
