>>56335646The entire point of Megas was and still is to create a gimmick to create a distinct feature for Kalos that gets you to buy buy buy up all the merch, games, consume the anime etc... it's just another gimmick to give the region a unique flavor and identity without them having to actually make the region have character or identity like say Sinnoh with it's myths and legends focus or Kanto with it's nature vs development theme
