Further, Nintendo knows their base will wait. They are simply applying that knowledge to pokemon. I agree in an ideal world, games should be announced 6 months out, but this isn't the ideal world and studios need to communicate to the outside world that they're working on things before they're ready to show it off at scale.

Pokemon fans continue to be whiny, impatient manchildren. If GF didn't announce Plza until 6 months out, every one of you would be shitting and pissing yourself about how gf is doing nothing and killing the pokemon hype train by not revealing anything. If they were giving us all of the information about plza now you would be dedicating every waking moment to tearing apart every detail and by release you would be bitching and moaning about how they killed the hype by overdoing it and leaving nothing left to be discovered.
