despite that emerald did more for R/S than Platinum did for D/P(that is to say Platinum's changes were largely unneeded bc DP were amazing already, R/S were just okay).
i got both around launch, i'm a gen 2 brat. got ORAS around lauch too, it's whatever. better remakes than BDSP for sure but that's a low bar even if i'd rank original D/P over ORAS
