Annihilape feels like it could've been a gen 4 evolution. Probably partly because it's an evolution to a gen 1 Pokémon that's slower and bulkier than before.

My only issue with Colossal is that it feels incomplete without it's Gigantamax. I wish Coalossal was the middle evo and then something in-between Coalossal and Gigantamax Colossal was the final evo. The current middle Evo (forgot it's name) is pointless. It should go Rolycoly > Coalossal > 3rd evo

Nah I’d say gen 7.

This is partly the reason I loved radred. Max pokemon having their max forms turned into megas was really cool. I love max Snorlax and I loved playing him in that game.
