Swift Swim is supposed to be the ONLY time this Pokémon can be fast, the Pocket Monsters Encyclopedia specifically calls it out for being extremely slow on land.

It's angry because it's growth is stunted. Pocket Monsters Encyclopedia explains that Poliwag evolves differently from regular tadpoles, preventing it from developing into a frog. Keep in mind, this is before Politoed existed.

I don't see how Slaking's BST isn't fucking ridiculous for a Pokemon that isn't a legendary or a mythical.
Yeah, it has Truant, but Regigigas has Slow Start.

Any version of Slow Start that halves any of its stats is going to make it a gimmick mon.
Either give it No Retreat or have Slow Start double attack and speed after 5 turns.
It's worth noting that Gamefreak fucking hates Regigigas and have made it worse in gen 7 and in PLA, so they have no intentions on making it not as bad as it always has been.
