Do you think Gen 10 on Switch 2 will actually visually impress?

I mean even Switch games like DQ11S blow SV put if the water in graphics.

Some PS2 games blow SV out of the water, anon. And I say that as someone who loved SV.
I have very little hope that GF will ever try to make a game with good graphics. They clearly cannot do it, but apparently also don't want to hire any external people who could do it for them. So yeah, I really don't see it happening unfortunately.

Not at all. The only thing that's guaranteed is that the fidelity on Pokemon models will increase yet again, but the art style for both humans and the world itself will drastically shift yet again because Pokemon seems to despise the idea of consistency outside of its monsters.

the recurring theme of the Switch era was dogshit production management inside GF, they committing to work on too many projects for what they could handle and refused to delay release windows because the games are just the center tentpole of a massive media empire - the cards, show, sidegame tie-ins, merch, etc. are all ready to go so the mainline game gets released even if it isn't finished because the delay will cost millions of dollars in marketing delays and expected revenue

I really doubt they will have fixed the core problems inside how the studio is run

I guarantee that it won’t. There is zero chance of gen 10 being anything but mediocre both visually and mechanically, like all of the switch slop before it. This will upset certain nugenner trannies but it is irrefutable. You can screencap this post for when the nugenner niggertrannies are kvetching about the backlash to gen 10 being the ugliest games on the next console.

Switch had an okayish level of power if you sat down and optimized your code. BotW was 900p and MK8D was 1080p/60fps.

Most devs don't have time like that though and rush out spaghetti code. Swotch 2 will likely be more forgiving of spaghetti code so shit will probably at the very least run better FPS wise.
