>>56353990The comment in the OP pic doesn't say "peak" in it. It says ORAS is "underrated", which I would agree with as someone that has played this series since Red and Blue. ORAS catches a lot of flak for being a bad remake or whatever, not having the battle frontier, etc. But it's a great game. The DexNav is really fun to chain for hidden abilities and unique moves or perfect IVs, not to mention shiny chance increasing. Way better than Pokeradar and similar stuff. The secret bases were nice, and still work to this day because they can be shared via QR code. Soaring on Latios/as is cool as fuck, and probably the best rendition of flying the series has seen. The changes to Mauville are nice, although maybe controversial, because there's just way more to do there now and it's a good concentration of QoL features. The Delta episode is almost universally praised, and if you've forgotten it, go watch a clip of going to space or better yet replay it. Hype as fuck rising guitar riff as you ride on mega fug to pierce the giant meteor of death and then get to battle a mythical space virus pokemon that almost no one got to see in the original gen 3 games. Plus, ORAS gave people the chance to catch a lot of legendary pokemon in those portals AND PLAYED THEIR ACTUAL THEMES. Almost no other game with other legendaries plays the real music like that; a very soulful touch. Flawed games, definitely, but they don't deserve to be shit on the way a lot of people do.
