>>56356979I don't think any of that is necessary for B2W2. The original BB2/VW2 felt like a natural development of what was already there, whereas Redux feels too modern. I'm aware Renegade Platinum does this too, but I play that as a replacement for BDSP.
I have several projects in the works, but there's only two that I've gotten a lot done for.
>151 hack for Red that retains the Battle Tent and rematches from TPP Version, with balance changes to compliment the jank of Gen 1 and new dialogue to flesh out the story just a bitTechnically finished but I want to go back through it and add/tweak a bit now that I've learned more while working on my next project. Public release on Pokémon Day 2025.
>"Another Crystal", evolution of an existing Anniversary Crystal hack with a more polished story and revamped balancingIn the middle of a live test run here on /vp/, on hold until I get back home from a vacation. Making notes on what needs to be adjusted, aiming for November release to commemorate GS 25th anniversary.
>Aesthetic tweaks for Pokémon Prism to fit my personal brand of autism, like recapitalizing Pokémon and character names, making dialogue boxes flow more naturally, and reverting all the gay shit added in 2023.Starting on this immediately after I release my Crystal hack. Will be finished and released before the end of the year.
>mostly faithful Emerald hack with two main goals: reverse a few things back to Ruby/Sapphire that personally rub me the wrong way, and implement post-game QOL additions to make Battle Frontier prep easierNearly everything is written down, just need to actually implement the changes. I'd like to have it done by May 1st for the 20th anniversary.
>FireRed hack with various changesVery early planning stages, too early to even make any clearcut statements about features. Late 2025 or early 2026.
