>>56357951I actually liked quite a bit of them. Off the top of my head, Garganacl, Revavroom, Cetitan, Glimmora, Toedscool, Houndstone. There are others, but these are the first that come to mind. I also liked the Treasures of Ruin and the sandwich dogs. Paradoxes didn't really impress me, only one I resonated with was Iron Treads. And from the DLC, Dipplin and Hydrapple are standouts.
Amusingly, the weakest part of this gen for me were the starters themselves. I hated Meowscarada and Quaquaval, and Skeledirge only sorta grew on me after using him.
Gen 9's dex was overall a step-up from gen 8 in my eyes, where the bad designs were BAD and the not-bad ones were average at best.
