There are a lot of times in RBY where a Rocket Grunt will say "Darn it!" or "Blast it!", and although I do appreciate the pun (rockets blast off), I feel like a grown ass adult should just go ahead and say "Damn it!"

I think the most I'd do is let a villain say "damn" or "dammit". It might be kinda funny to let someone get called a dumbass. The series is intended to be appropriate even for very young children, so it would never fit into the dialogue and feel natural unless everything else changed in presentation too.
Really funny would be if Blue calls you a fag in RBY.

I feel like we could see someone saying "damn" in the next few gens. In gen 9, a character says "This sucks". I think that would've been unthinkable in a Pokémon game 20 years ago, but still like that changes within a language over time.
