I got Violet. I planned on using Fuecoco, so Armarouge/Ceruledge didn't matter to me. The paradoxes I think are evenly matched, and I actually like the chrome shinies for the future ones.
Miraidon/Koraidon was the big difference maker for me. You're gonna spend most of your overworld time riding that thing, and Miraidon's sleek style appeals way more to me than Koraidon bounding and doggy paddling around.

If one had to choose with a gun pressed to the temple though, Scarlet. The stupid future pokemon are some of the laziest shit out there.

I recently picked up Scarlet on a whim because I randomly found the physical edition with dlc for 33% off which is crazy for a nintendo game, at least in my country.
I think prehistoric pokemon are more interesting than robot pokemon, Koraidon running on all 4s when it has giant wheels sticking out of it's torso is just fucking stupid though.
I'm only ~5 hours in and I didn't expect much but holy shit the game is worse than I thought.
