>>56376357I'm glad I'm not the only one that's noticed how over-saturated Grass/Ghost is.
Part of the problem is that, every time they introduce a line in a generation, they introduce two lines.
>Gen 6, Phantump line and Pumpkaboo line>Gen 7, Decidueye and Dhelmise>Gen 9, Bramblin line and Poltchageist lineThat's 10 Grass/Ghost Pokemon total since Gen 6, but that bumps up to 16 if you count all the Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist forms individually.
Another Grass combo that's starting to irk me is Grass/Dragon. Like the Applin family blew up the count, especially if you count Flapple and Appletun's GMax forms individually.
Like the entire Applin line should have been Bug/Dragon considering the BUG INSIDE THE APPLE is the actual Pokemon.
Dipplin should not exist as well. Should have been a regional Applin form with a unique evolution into Hydrapple, or it should've gone straight from Applin to Hydrapple.
NO MORE GRASS/GHOST AND NO MORE GRASS/DRAGON.
I know Grass/Poison is the most common Grass dual-type combo, but that's mainly Gen 1's fault with 3 complete 3-stage lines that share that type. Since Gen 1, Grass/Poison has fortunately been pretty sparse.
