Nobody in 2024 gives a fuck about Marill or Togepi, and TPC knows that. I agree that they would be the Gen 2 mascots along with Pichu, but I'm sure their marketing team knows it's been over 20 years and kids can't even name Togepi, and don't like it,, it is a baby nigga in a egg diaper.
