I know PMD games have a release date of 4-5 years for new games but SUPER's story seem like it was made to be a conclusion to the franchise.

DX was a surprise and i liked it but it was just a remake.

It's been four years and I'm hoping there's news of a new game in the franchise. Hopefully there's good news by December or the begining of 2025.

I would be surprised if they didn't do a DX remake of Explorers at least, the Rescue Team remake opened the doors for that. beyond that it's up in the air, I don't think the other two games are popular enough to warrant remakes and idk how likely a new original game is.
one thing to consider is that Mystery Dungeon tends to include all current Pokemon (with the exception of GTI) and they have to make models for all of them. it's presumably a lot of dev work, and probably why there was an 8 year gap between Explorers and Super with GTI having less than 200 Pokemon (iirc). doing that on handheld is one thing, but now doing 1000+ Pokemon on console...Gamefreak can't even do that for their main series. I wonder if there's been some dev conflict over this in regards to mystery dungeon.
Explorers remake should be feasible because they can reuse models from DX and just have to model Gen 4..

TPC just plain doesn't like spinoffs that aren't able to be shoved onto the app store ever since GO opened their eyes to how profitable they can be, never mind being even more dirt cheap than a dedicated game for consoles, which is what Pokemon is stuck with for the foreseeable future compared to how dirt cheap it was to shove out spinoffs for GB, GBC, GBA and DS.

I also think the devs made a decision to cut back on some content for PMD since it may not be as popular or profitable as when it started. DX not having the friend areas was a bummer since that was one of my favorite features from the games. They would've looked great in DX's artstyle.

The increased number of Pokemon is also a problem devs might struggle with but i think if they make games focused on one or two generations i think it could work.

Honestly this is the best depicition of pokemon in my opinion. The main series' word is just too dull in comparison.Honestly would love this without the isekai and even the aspect; a game similiar to mana series with pokemon.
