>>56407243>>56407225The starters that Game Freak loves the most: KANTOOOO, Hoeen (Mega Holders, contains Blaziken), and Alola (contains BaraTigerofHealthyMeta and got Zmoves) survived, while the ones always get the shit end of the stick: Gen 2 (most hated starters in the franchise, literally designed to be "Kanto starters at home" out of contempt for Johto fans), Gen 5 (the starters most hated by Genwunners), and Gen 6 (got cucked out of Megas, Greninja got to big for its britches and had to be stomped by CHARIZARD) were from were unceremoniously thrown out like trash and left rot in pokemon Prison. Gen 4 starters are a weird outlier but due to PLA one could argue they were only cut because they would be in that. If it wasn't intentional than it was one HELL of a coincidence.
